SMW Engineering General Security Statement 18 September 2026

 

·       All electronic card holder information is held and secured by SMW Engineering’s website and payment providers. These are:

o   Website: Shopify International Limited

o   Card Processing: Worldpay LLC

o   Other payment processing: Paypal UK Ltd

·       SMW Engineering will ensure all third party data holders are fully PCI compliant when initially contracted and will review their compliance annually.

·       SMW Engineering does not hold any client payment data onsite electronically.

·       SMW engineering only retains data holding clients names and addresses in invoices for tax auditing purposes.

 

SMW Engineering Network and Security Policy

 

·       SMW Engineering’s data is held only on local servers which are password protected and isolated from the Internet.

·       No third parties are given access.

 

E-Mail

 

·       SMW Engineering uses a third party email provider “Google”. If a customer sends an e-mail to SMW Engineering then they agree to Google’s terms of service.
