bought these a week ago and after a few rounds the mount completely snapped as shown in the image. good as a tie you over till you can get proper mounts. pretty poor construction material.. have to say im disappointed,, pigeon shoot is off now till i can replace them with better ones
Bought these adapters to allow use of Picatinny/Weaver type scope rings as an alternative to that provided by Theoben on their earlier gas ram rifles.
The adapters appear to be well made and fit securely to the Theoben base rail using the original fasteners.
The adapters raise the scope rings position so will allow for fitting scopes with larger objective lenses if required.
A clever idea. Theoben’s proprietary mounting system doesn’t give many options for such well made and long-lasting guns, and short of buying an expensive new scope to fit my gun properly, these adapters allow me to fit more up-to-date mounts (NATO / 20mm).
So, maybe too early to give a long-term opinion as I’ve fitted them and the new mounts and used the gun only once since. Didn’t take long to get zeroed, and that might tell you all you need to know for now.
Essential if you plan to use a scope with either a 30mm or 34mm body. (as against to the standard 1" that Theoben use).
Easy to fit and effective.
